I have a 2023 Yamaha Wolverine X2 850 and what I didn't know was the front sits slightly lower than the rear. Also know as forward rake. Last year I ordered some Elka shocks and I couldn't figure out why the front shocks they shipped had a lot of preload compared to the rear-90mm vs. 60mm in the rear. The ride was terrible because of the excessive preload in the front. Now I know why they (Elka) shipped the shock with a higher preload. It was to level out the machine. This lift allows you to set all shocks to the same setting, which for me is the softest setting and level out the ride height. Now with the lift, the X2 sits level and gives me more clearance when rolling over larger rocks.

I purchased the 2 inch front lift kit for my 2024 Wolverine X2 and it is awesome!
If you’re looking for more ground clearance, or maybe thinking about installing bigger tires, it’s a must.
You don’t have to do any front shock adjustment, it’s direct bolt on.
It gives you 1-2 inches of extra ground clearance, depending on if you adjust the shocks.
A real perfect item for those with the wolverine x2 models that have the nose in the front lower than the rear.

Bought this kit to level out my Wolverine X2 and it did exactly that! Install was super easy and took less than an hour. For those installing this kit on a Yamaha Wolver X2 XTR, taking the wheels off makes it a lot easier to get the shocks back on once the kit is installed. Instructions are very well written and the lift and hardware are of high quality.

Quality parts, easy straight forward install and happy with result. Came very well packaged also. 2023 XTR X2 with 28x10-14 Tusk Terrabites and ITP SS316 wheels.
I am very pleased with the lift. Installation took less than 30 minutes and I was able to do it all without removing the wheels and tires. Ride quality remained the same. I highly recommend this lift for anyone wanting to get rid of the factory rake.

Incredibly easy to install with good instructions! Does exactly what was advertised. Raised my front of the X2 to make it level, which helps rid that leaning forward feeling.
I purchased this front leveling kit for my 2019 Yamaha Wolverine X2 R-Spec SE that sagged 1 1/2 " in the front end compared to the rear. After installing the kit the machine measured exactly the same front to rear (Ground Clearance). This kit improved front end ground clearence, improved steering and handling and removed some of the negative camber in the front wheels. Best money I've spent on this machine ! This kit put everything back to factory spec. Thank you Perfex !! :)

I received the "2020 Wolverine 2 inch Front Only Leveling Kit" today...Thank you so much! Exactly what I wanted and quality and workmanship appear to be excellent. Installation was super easy and fast. The components seem to be well made and heavy duty enough to take the punishment that I'm sure it will get. Once I installed everything loosely, I lowered the vehicle down and bounced it a few times before tightening everything up just so everything would be "settled in" as it should be. I was surprised to see the small bolts did not have a spacer so I didn't torque those down very tight as I didn't want to deform the metal...likely wouldn't have anyway, but that is the way my mind thinks!
Just to refresh your memory...I wanted the front only kit since I felt like I was "sliding forward" in the seat. Also, when coming up to traffic lights (street legal) I had duck down to see the traffic light under my roof/windshield (I am tall). The machine also had that "stink bug/golf cart" look to it. I haven't touched my suspension adjustments or components yet and the front to rear difference (at the skidplate) was a full inch+ lower in the front than the back. Measuring at the front of the door at the skidplate it was 13.5" in the front and measuring just in front of the REAR WHEEL at the skidplate was 14.5" so it really was lower in the front than in the rear by almost exactly 1 inch.
After installing the kit, first of all, the LOOK is perfect! It now looks normal and a little bit more aggressive. Upon test driving, I am very happy to report that I no longer feel like I am sliding forward in the seat, and the visibility is much better since I now don't have to lean down or duck to see the traffic lights! It rides great, the kit did not induce any abnormal conditions or feelings, in fact it feels much better driving it now just due to the new posture I have in the vehicle! Much more comfortable. The ride itself did not seem to change at all. Here are some before and after measurements that I took and I will send the pictures to you also that shows these measurements. All measurements were made after a short drive around the block (both before and after) with no changes in suspension or air pressure in the tires or anything other than the installation of the front only lift kit:
Front Bumper: Before 20 1/2", After 22 3/8" = Net gain of 1 7/8" (Just shy of a full 2")
Left Side Skidplate behind front wheel: Before 13 1/2", After 14 1/2" = Net gain of 1"
I didn't do any other measurements but as you can see, it's basically a solid 2" lift at the front of the machine. The exciting part is that the front and the rear of the skidplate, behind the front wheels and in front of the rear wheels...are now almost exactly the same height, which means it is now leveled out perfectly! Which is exactly what I wanted to accomplish with this kit!

I ordered this kit on the recommendation from a friend who installed it on his Wolverine Rmax. I have yet to take the machine out, l will send along a review when l do. But l will offer a review on the kit and it's installation.
The kit is very well packaged and instructions were clear. Installation was very easy, it took about 20 minutes. I will recommend it to a friend who has a Yamaha Wolverine as well.

I bought a used 2022 X2 R-spec and it had quite a lot of negative camber and drove down the road like crap, wondering all around. Two ways to take out some negative camber, either increase spring preload or add a lift.
Adding the Perfex lift seemed like the logical solution and after adding the lift, which was as simple as buttering bread, my negative camber was nearly all corrected and the driving experience greatly improved.
Great and easy to install product.
